Hinsdale Central IL's Daniel Watcke set an Illinois all-time best in the 800-meter race, running 1:47.70 to place second in heat two and 10th overall in the men's high performance field at the Stumptown High Performance Meet at Jesuit High School in Portland. Watcke elevated to No. 2 in the country this year and No. 12 in U.S. prep outdoor history.
